Graphite on a 9x12 paper. When I did these I was giving emphasis on rendering and the lighting of the subject. I got these two down at work during down times; I was able to do one and a half artworks a day. Most of the shading was done by using H pencil, the cast shadows by HB, and the darker ones (like the hair) was by 3B. I was shading extra light to avoid making heavy lines when I render the skin. I am still experimenting on how to make a better photo shot on this medium as graphites come so light.
