Graphite study portrait of Glenn. As I always do, I wake up crazy early to do some sketches. I gotta have an idea what to do the night before so I won't have to waste time the next day. Next step to this is a charcoal rendition. A study helps me figure out the lights and darks, and how much intensity of values to use. 

I used mostly 7B Derwent graphite.
